As you may already know, at Expo East, we programmed Sedona to display the current temperature inside each drying chamber rather than displaying the set temperature the user chose during initial set up. we discovered it was easier and less confusing for the unit to just display what the user chose as their desired temperature. I believe most people are more likely to view the operation of this unit as simple as operating a conventional oven where you set your desired temperature and never worry about the temperature exceeding the set temperature. 

It's funny that someone has already asked why Sedona costs more than the Excalibur. We expected this question because most will believe that it is the same thing. Although Sedona serves the same purpose as Excalibur (dehydrating foods), we have to ask ourselves what makes Sedona so special to justify the cost. Well, like Green Star, there were plenty of other juicers on the market at half the price and we met the same opposition when launching Green Star in the US. However, what most were quick to realize is that you weren't just buying a juicer, you were buying the technology behind the juicer and the simple fact that Green Star had the technology that no other juicer had on the market making the juice the best you will ever taste and the most nutritious. It's the same thing with Sedona. When a customer is buying a Sedona, they are buying the technology behind the unit. Sedona is everything everyone has wanted in a dehydrator and more. 

Originally, when we were first brought the idea of building our own dehydrator it was from existing dehydrator owners who repeatedly called in with their suggestions. Although Jae had always considered making his own dehydrator, he didn't want to rush things. Naturally, Sedona costs more because it is the most efficient dehydrator on the market and it has all the bells and whistles. So here is the breakdown of what is different about Sedona and why it is definitely worth spending the extra cash.
